Important Notice on System Outage: 12/7/23    7:30am

As of today, BWFCU’S data processing system remains non-operational, but making progress.   Our Debit Cards are now connected- but in a “stand in” mode so please understand if not all transactions approve. Home Banking is also scheduled to go live today.  Again- Please be patient as all account balances will not be up to date. Please call our office if you have questions or concerns.

UMMS Employees:  We will have your payroll available at the Credit Union.  We are asking you to be prepared to submit a copy of your payroll check that shows your Direct Deposit.  If you have loans with the credit union,  please advise us in advance of a cash withdrawal to keep your loans current.

Please bear with us just a little longer as we work diligently to get you all connected to your financial information.  Again, we are truly sorry for this inconvenience and are hopeful that this situation will be resolved very soon

PLEASE REMEMBER:  Once Home Banking is restored, your balance will most likely be inaccurate until branch staff has completed ALL offline card processing and posted all in person transactions from last week.

NO OVERDRAFT/NFS fees will be assessed during this time.  You will only be responsible for bringing balances positive should your “old school banking” result in a negative balance.

* Your accounts and all funds are safe.
* Money is available for withdrawal here at the credit union and some ATM’s
* Debit cards are working but usage is spotty due to offline limitation.
* There is NO DISRUPTION to automatic and recurring draft processing.
* ALL direct deposits and withdrawals continue normally.

We are so grateful for your patience and understanding as our Mobile and Home Banking continue to be unavailable.  We are being told by FEDCOMP they are completing the staging process for bringing us back onto the cloud.

Share Insurance coverage offered through the NCUSIF protects members against losses if a federally insured credit union should fail.

-What basic coverage is provided by the NCUSIF?

The NCUSIF provides all members of federally insured credit unions with $250,000 in coverage for their individual accounts. These accounts include regular shares, share drafts, money market accounts, and share certificates.

Individuals with account balances totaling $250,000 or less at the same insured credit union have full NCUSIF coverage.

BWFCU has raised CD Rates!

Effective Feb. 6,2023 you can open a 12-60 month CD with rates from 2.83% to 3.00%.

We also have a CD Special…  for 7 and 9 month CD’s  with the rate of 3.90%

Effective 12/28/21 Online Banking for BWFCU has been updated.   There are improvements to the Online Banking with more security and more features. You may be asked to re-set up your account and accept the terms depending on the last login in into your account.
